Assignment #1: Concepts and Overview

Part I: annotated URL's

Based on the class discussions, materials and concepts we have addressed, construct an annotated web-ography consisting of three (3) URL's + 1 paragraph (5-7 sentences) per entry for each of the following topics (6 short paragraphs in total):

1. comparison of analog and digital information as it related to media entities
2. anonymous peer-to-peer networks and their impact on the music, film and game industries

Part II: Principals of New Media

Using Manovich's "principals of new media" (class 4 notes) describe how "digital film" is fundamentally different from "film". Use the following table format to create your answer and add a comment or two for each row to explain your decision. (you can make a table in excel or word or html).
